About  NIAG

NIAG was founded more than 35 years ago to study, discover and promote Northamptonshire’s industrial archaeology.

NIAG aims to provide a forum for the exchange of information and views on industrial archaeology, to liaise with other bodies at county, regional and national level and to contribute to the management of industrial heritage in the county.

The group of over 100 members has monthly meetings October to March with visiting speakers. The summer months are covered by a programme of weekly meetings visiting sites of interest both inside and beyond the county boundary.

A quarterly Newsletter keeps members informed of activities, news and provides a record of visits made.
